Louis Michel & Fils

The Domaine Louis Michel & Fils owns 25 ha of vineyards on the most prestigious plots of the Chablis terroir of origin. The vineyards are 45 years on average and stretch over fourappellations : Chablis Grand Cru, Premier Cru, Chablis and Petit Chablis. The philosophy of the estate consists in making the best out of this unique terroir through a sustainableapproach to viticulture. The vinification process is carried out as simple as possible by using natural yeast during the fermentation. Since the 1970s, barrels have been abandonedin favour of vats which serve best to express the different terroirs, while conserving the freshness, vibrancy and minerality of the Chablis.
